Meet Our Instructors
Learning martial arts, just like anything else, is much easier when you are being taught by well trained, highly skilled instructors. At Combined Martial Science, you can feel confident that all of our instructors are certified Black Belts. In fact, they have been seasoned by years of intense training and experience in order to qualify as part of the Combined Martial Science team. Most of our instructors are even national tournament champions!

Over the years, he has earned multiple Black Belts in various martial arts styles, including:
Whether working with Little Champs, teenagers or adults, Sensei Tony brings the same energy and enthusiasm to all his students. For him, martial arts is an opportunity to teach physical discipline, coordination, focus and perseverance. Above all, he believes that martial arts provides an opportunity to develop self-esteem and character, traits that are sometimes threatened by today’s society. It is because of this approach that he has been so successful working with both children and adults alike.
Sensei Emory Clay
Sensei Emory Clay, our “Dojo Pit Bull,” is a 3rd-degree Black Belt. He began studying martial arts when he was 4 years old, learning Karate, Muay Thai kickboxing, Judo and Brazilian Jiu-jitsu. He also wrestled while in middle school, high school and college. A four-time national champion, Sensei Emory has fought in all levels of martial arts tournaments. He was even the head conditioning coach for one of the top cage fighting schools in Southern California. Sensei Emory has served as the head wrestling coach at both East LA College and East LA High School.
Sensei Josh Allen
Sensei Josh Allen is a 1st-Degree Black Belt with over 23 years of experience in martial arts. As a young man, he competed in local, state, and national martial arts tournaments. He is a national Pankration Champion. Sensei Josh is known for his tough conditioning workouts that have helped fighters prepare for competition and everyday men and women fight obesity by shedding pounds.
Sensei Doug Cochran
